What are Bi-folding doors?
Bifold doors are a kind of folding exterior door made up of several panels that fold back against the wall in sections as a concertina. The framed glass panels slide along a track to make them easy to open and close. Bi-fold doors fully open to seamlessly connect your living space with your terrace, patio or garden.

The Schuco bifold doors offer an incredibly slim profile that allows you to enjoy panoramic views of your exterior surroundings that are unmatched in the market. The doors offer a 70mm profile depth with minimum sightlines reaching 120mm. You can even choose how thick the glazing is, with options ranging between 6mm to 45mm.
Designed with durability in mind, our collection of Schuco aluminium bifold doors are there to provide you with many years of high performance service. The profiles are finished with a durable powder coating that will prevent the colour of the Schuco bifold doors from fading overtime. It will also help to prevent scratches from appearing on the frames.
Energy saving benefits
Manufactured to exceed current building regulations, the internal and external aluminium frame sections of Schuco systems are separated with a thermal barrier to minimise heat loss. High performance glass units come as standard. These work together with the thermal barrier to maximise heat retention, thus saving you money on your energy bills.
Safe and sound
Offering burglar resistant up to class RC 2 (WK2), Schuco bifolding doors are fitted with police approved ‘Secured by design’ multipoint locks, which are operated with BSI Kitemarked key cylinders on the main doors.
Intermediate panels are reinforced with shoot bolts that secure the top and bottom when you lock the slave handle. Each panel is internally beaded to prevent the removal of glass from the outside and the additional rubber seals enhance security even further, while offering great protection from the elements.

SMART Systems
For many years this has been a firm favourite with our customers. These doors are at a price point that is within reach for most customers and gives the tradesmen the ability to sell these and fit them within a small budget. This low price is continued through when bought directly from us maximising the Smarts Visofold 1000’s value for money.
SMART Systems:
The Smarts Visofold 1000 has an integrated 6 point locking system that has been fully tested to some of the highest standards and has passed all tests. All bi-fold doors are designed with security in mind and in most cases are more secure than normal doors.
All Visofold doors have the option of either low thresholds for unimpeded, easy access, or rebated thresholds that offer improved weather resistance. Visofold doors are available in a choice of standard or non-standard colours, including metallic, wood-structure, dual colour and Smart’s unique Sensations range of textured finishes.

Essentially, bifold doors can transform your living spaces.
The ultimate contemporary addition to any home regardless of age, location, and aesthetic, Cortizo Aluminium Bifold Doors are available in up to seven leaves each way (fourteen in total) which allows for the largest possible aperture. The design and width of your bifold will be dependent on the size of your home and the width of your chosen wall.
